Spam review process
How submissions are evaluated, what statuses mean, and how your form settings affect the flow.
How spam review works
Every submission is evaluated before delivery. Depending on the result, it may be sent immediately, held for review, or blocked. Use the collapsible section below to understand each status.
What do Delivered, Flag, Spam, and Pending AI review mean?
Delivered
The submission passed all checks. The email was sent to your recipients.
Flag (Pending review)
The AI was uncertain. The email was still sent, but you should review it in Spam Review. Approve it to keep it, or confirm as spam if it was unwanted.
Spam
The submission was blocked as spam. No email was sent. Use "Mark not spam" to approve it and deliver to recipients if it was legitimate.
Pending AI review
The AI is doing a second pass before deciding. The email has not been sent yet. This usually resolves automatically within a short time.
How form settings affect spam review
Your form configuration determines which checks run and how strict the evaluation is.
Spam prevention and AI review options
Spam prevention
When enabled in form settings, submissions use reCAPTCHA and layered background checks. Suspicious submissions may be flagged or blocked.
AI review
When enabled, the AI evaluates content for spam patterns. It can deliver, flag for your review, or block. The context of your form (e.g. contact vs. lead capture) influences how the AI interprets content.
Honeypot
An invisible field added to the form. Bots that fill it are rejected before any other checks run.
Manage email and domain reputation in Spam Controls. Review flagged or blocked submissions in Spam Review.
